MAERA aims to anticipate the deployment of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms by combining efficient execution performance with stringent security requirements. To achieve this, the project focuses on extending the RISC-V instruction set architecture. These extensions are potential candidates for the future standardization of PQC on RISC-V platforms.
Our broader objective is to initiate the development of a hardware cryptographic library that supports both classical and post-quantum asymmetric cryptographic algorithms.
